Summer Squash

What's more summery than succulent, tender summer squash? And what's easier to grow? Summer squash produce an abundance of fruit for a minimum of care, and they can be succession sown to boot! If you're friends with a vegetable gardener, there's a good chance you've been gifted a zucchini once or twice (because they were awash in squash!). This year, be the zucchini giver: shop varieties below.

Sautéed, Grilled, Roasted, or Raw:
Summer Squash does it all.

This summer staple has deep golden skin and a slightly crooked neck. Eat them small and eat them often.

Tasty cooked or raw and produces an abundance of edible flowers. Lovely striped skin. Nutty flavor.

A class green zucchini with good resistance to powdery mildew. Sizable yet manageable yields.

Prolific plants with an open habit that makes for easy picking! Dark green skin, mildly sweet flesh.
