Corn Higher Tuesday at 6:00 a.m. CDT

5/4/2021 | 6:00 AM CDT

DTN Staff Reporter

Corn: July corn closed up 6 1/4 cents Monday, and besides November soybeans, was the only grain/soy market to finish in the green as Brazil remains too dry.

Soybeans: July soybeans closed down 10 1/4 cents on Monday, 40 cents below the overnight high, as profit-taking ensued.

Wheat: July Chicago wheat closed down 16 3/4 cents following rains across the soft red winter wheat areas.

Cotton: July cotton futures finished mildly lower for the third time in the last four days, closing down 0.03 cents.

Live Cattle: June live cattle futures renewed its bearish trend, closing down $1.275 Monday, remaining in a short-term downtrend.
