Corn: July corn soared to a 17 1/4 cent higher close, reaching above $7.00 at one point on the warm and dry Brazil forecast and rising basis levels in the U.S. Soybeans: July soybeans finished up 14 1/4 cents, supported by a surging domestic basis and rising world veg oil prices. Wheat: July Chicago wheat closed up 8 3/4 cents with little news to drive the market, as crop conditions remained close to last week. Cotton: July cotton futures finished lower again for the fourth time in the last five days, closing down 0.69 cents. Live Cattle: June live cattle futures plunged again, to the lowest level since early January, closing down $2.275, and are now down $12/cwt since April 8. (c) Copyright 2021 DTN, LLC.
