JosBTheOnlineBartender Our forecast for 2021 corn plantings three months ago was 93.0 million acres. USDA surprised the market with planting intentions of just more than 91.1 million acres, which would be a rather modest 325,000-acre gain from 2020. Assuming a favorable planting season, we expect final corn acres will exceed USDA's March intentions. Our 2021-22 balance sheet factors in corn plantings of 92.25 million acres. Even higher plantings can't to be ruled out. . .
