Bountiful Beans

An important source of protein and calories, beans have nourished us humans for millennia. And they're not only delicious to eat–they're easy to grow! Now that the weather is warming up, it's the perfect time to sow: beans need warm soil and frost-free days to thrive. From pole beans to dry beans, there's a bean for every human bean. Shop favorites below.

Shelling Beans, Bush Beans, Pole Beans, Dry Beans:
Get with the bean scene.

As one reviewer raves, "These were the most delicious beans I've ever planted." This trio of snap bush varieties is the perfect blend.

Part of the Slow Foods US Ark of Taste, Jacob's Cattle is known for its distinctive mottling. Big yields and well-adapted to the Northeast.

Fix nitrogen while you grow a tasty crop! The bright green pods make excellent steamed edamame. Just sprinkle with a little salt.

These highly productive plants reach up to 8' tall: perfect for tight spaces. Pods average about 6" and are easy to pluck. A green bean classic.
